Abstract (English):In the center of this paper is a defense of a modified utilitarianism with an independent principle of autonomy and non-redundant moral rights. The defect of Peter Singer's simple preference-utilitarianism is indicated by his unsupported ranking of different kinds of preferences and his repugnant conclusion, that newborn infants have no right to life. His argumenta for voluntary euthanasia and non-voluntary euthanasia of "defect" babies are based on the distinctions between "voluntary and nonvoluntary" euthanasia and "internal and external" - distinctions, which are hard to uphold in practice.
