(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):Even among those pedagogues who are interested in questions of psychoanalytic education, the existence of the Burlingham-Rosenfeld-School, a psychoanalytically inspired private school in Vienna (1927-1932), with Erik Erikson and Peter Blos as teachers, is hardly known. First the story of how this school came into being is told and the persons involved are introduced, Then the form of teaching that was practiced at this school is described with several examples. Stress is laid on the question, how psychoanalytic thought influenced the life of the school and whether or not it is appropriate to talk of the Burlingham-Rosenfeld School as a "psychoanalytic school". On the basis of recollections of former pupils, given in answers to a questionnaire, the study tries to recapture the spirit of the Burlingham-Rosenfeld School and to find out what kind of influence the school and the "psychoanalytical climate" as a whole had on the life of those pupils. Finally the important role of the documentation of educational experiments is emphasized. (DIPF/Orig.)
