(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):This article centers on technologically induced or supported (future) changes to learning and educational processes. The author approaches the related issues from several starting points that provide indicators (“signals”) for general adult education: She analyses the postings on the topics raised in the Google+ group “ vhs2020” and identifies Google trends on online learning. She further examines available trend analyses on technology-enhanced learning in the higher education sector to determine their meaningfulness for adult education and reports on the results of a number of her own studies as well as research on the future of learning and teaching materials in the German-speaking world. The following topics thus have a signal effect: data protection and digital workshops, free and open educational opportunities, peer learning and massive open online courses (MOOCs). (DIPF/Orig.)
